Today, Royal Jaarbeurs launches the 'Congress Coaches' campaign. With this campaign, Jaarbeurs aims to distinguish itself as the leading congress and meeting venue in the Netherlands through its knowledge and expertise. For the past two years, Jaarbeurs has won the gold award for the best congress venue in the country, thanks to its personal guidance in organizing conferences and meetings. To highlight this, the Utrecht-based event location introduces the congress coaches in its latest campaign.
Personal Guidance from A to Z for Large and Small Events
In 2023, Jaarbeurs launched the campaign 'The World of Jaarbeurs,' giving its event venue a literal face. Through special stories from clients, visitors, and employees, this campaign brings attention to the diversity of possibilities that Jaarbeurs has to offer. One of these possibilities is organizing conferences and meetings. Esther Driessen, Head of Corporate Communications & PR at Royal Jaarbeurs: "Just like in the campaign 'The World of Jaarbeurs,' our own employees also take center stage in the new campaign. The personal approach and the expertise of our passionate staff are key strengths of Jaarbeurs. Our account managers, rebranded as congress coaches in the campaign, share their experiences with organizers of conferences and smaller events. They do this through so-called 'congress hacks,' tips that help take your event to the next level."
Congress Hacks: Play with Colors, Technology, and Layout
Through its congress coaches, Jaarbeurs shares knowledge and expertise in the form of congress hacks — valuable tips on arranging the right technology, determining room layouts, or making an event more sustainable. One of the congress coaches, Kelly van der Velden-Otten, who has worked at Jaarbeurs for nearly ten years, explains: "Together with the team, we share tips that organizers can use to make their event even more enjoyable and successful. One example of such a hack is 'boost knowledge transfer with blue elements.' Colors can stimulate brain activity, and blue contributes to increased knowledge retention. The color blue is known for its calming and balancing effect, helping the brain produce calming chemicals. This can be especially useful during presentations, workshops, or training sessions where understanding and absorbing information is crucial."
Jaarbeurs has four congress locations, including the Beatrix Theater, Media Plaza, Supernova, and Jaarbeurs MeetUp, with both large and small meeting rooms. More information about the congress coaches can be found at: www.congrescoaches.nl.
